But, is their growing trust and love for one another enough to endure betrayal and mend the devastation of their lives and hearts?
When honor clashes with blood lust, only strength of spirit can prevail.
NEWS FLASH! DiandiaCity:Hundreds perish
as spot riots erupt throughout the city state of Diandia leaving the city
burning out of control. In massive numbers, Tritan slaves are escaping their
captors and fleeing the country after 18 years in bondage. This largest revolt
on record is purported to have been orchestrated by a slave known only by his
number of 515. He is armed and is considered highly dangerous and was last seen
leaving the palace prison with the Empress Celeste held captive.
In
an incredible turn of events, verified by Judge Magistrate Cerdo, ranking member of
Diandia's high council, Empress Celeste - after only four days on the Diandi
throne, has been convicted of treason and sentenced to execution. It is unclear
whether or not her conviction is related to her attempts to end the on-going
war between Diandia and Tritania. Judge Cerdo denies leaks from the palace of
political corruption and that he manipulated and intimidated council members into
accusing Celeste of any wrong-doing.
Rumors also persist that Slave 515 is the deposed
King of Tritania and is staging his campaign to reclaim it. It is unknown at
this time if he intends to use the one-time Empress as a tool of negotiation or
for his personal pleasures, but independent reports state that the two of them
have developed a deep love interest with one another in spite of Slave 515's
vows of vengeance for his years of bondage. Soldiers have been dispatched to
the remote monastery where the one-time Empress spent her first 21 years of
life and is expected to return to seek medical treatment for Slave 515,
critically wounded during his assault on the palace prison.
Borders
between Diandia and Tritania are closed. Speculation escalates regarding
whether or not Empress Celeste and Slave 515 have the perseverance to survive
their irreconcilable differences and endure these tragic events of the ruin of
Diandia, betrayal by those most trusted, and what must surely be considered the
devastation of their hearts and lives.
